About the Donation System
Our server operates on a voluntary donation model. This means all player accounts have free access to the game, and donations are entirely optional. We believe in transparency and community support, which is why we show our donation progress and server costs openly.
Do I need to pay to play?
No! All player accounts are completely free. You can create an account and start playing immediately without any payment. Your game access will never be revoked based on donation status.
Why should I donate?
Donations help cover our monthly server costs, which include hosting, bandwidth, and maintenance. By donating, you're supporting the community and helping keep the server running for everyone. It's a way to give back if you enjoy playing on our server.
What in-game gifts do donors receive?
Donors can receive two types of in-game rewards on each donation:
- Donation gift — based on the amount you donate (higher amounts unlock larger gift brackets).
- Legate tier bonus — an extra pack when your donation reaches a Legate tier ($5, $10, $15, $25, or $50).
- All cosmetic skins — unlocked on every linked player account you own (including accounts you create later).
Both rewards stack. Choose which linked player account should receive the gifts on the donation page. Gifts may include quanta, talent points, northmarks, items, and blueprints — see the live gift list on the donation page.
What are the donation tiers?
We offer preset one-time donation amounts that unlock supporter badges on the leaderboard:
- $5 - Basic Legate
- $10 - Uncommon Legate
- $15 - Advanced Legate
- $25 - Rare Legate
- $50 - Exotic Legate
You can also enter a custom amount. All donations are one-time contributions — there are no recurring subscriptions.
What is the donation progress bar?
The progress bar in the header shows how much the community has donated this month toward our monthly goal. It updates in real-time as donations are received, giving everyone transparency into how close we are to covering server costs.
What happens if the donation goal isn't met?
Nothing changes for players! Your game access remains active regardless of whether we meet the monthly goal. The server will continue operating, and we'll work to cover any shortfall. The goal is simply a target to help the community understand our costs.
Do donations expire?
Your game access continues uninterrupted! Donations are tracked for transparency and to show appreciation, but they don't affect your ability to play. You can donate again at any time if you'd like to continue supporting the server.
What are gifts?
Gifts are redeemable codes that provide various rewards:
- Item Gifts - Specific in-game items
- Credit Gifts - In-game currency (quantas)
- Blueprint Gifts - Construction blueprints
- Wallet Credits - Website wallet credits
Gifts may be given out by admins for events, promotions, or as rewards. Some gifts are restricted to specific users, while others can be claimed by anyone with the code.
How do I claim a gift?
To claim a gift:
- Navigate to the Gifts page from your dashboard
- Click "Redeem Gift Code"
- Enter the gift code you received
- If it's an item gift, select which player account should receive the items
- The gift will be attached to your account and queued for delivery
What is item gift assignment?
When you claim an item gift, you need to choose which of your player accounts (characters) should receive the items. This allows you to direct rewards to your main character or an alt as needed. Once assigned, the items will be delivered to that character in-game.
How can I donate?
We accept one-time donations through PayPal, cryptocurrency (via NOWPayments), or manual bank transfer. Click the "Donate" button in the header, choose your amount and payment method, and complete the checkout. Cryptocurrency payments may take a few minutes to confirm on the blockchain.
What is the donor leaderboard?
The Top Donors list and our Discord donations channel show community members who opted in to display their name publicly. Uncheck "Show my name on the leaderboard and in our Discord donations channel" when donating if you prefer privacy — your donation is still logged to Discord as Anonymous and counts toward server funding, but won't appear on the public leaderboard with your name.
How are donations used?
All donations go directly toward covering server costs, including:
- Server hosting and infrastructure
- Bandwidth and data transfer
- Maintenance and updates
- Backup and security systems
